For the last three years, I’ve been compelled to snap photos of objects for no reason other than they’re pleasing to me. These aren’t photos I share or post, but I keep them on my phone and something about them makes me happy. I didn’t get rid of them even when I deleted photos because my iphone was yelling at me that my storage was “dangerously low.” That’s how much I liked them.
I never gave any thought to this habit, but 2020 is a new year of paying attention… and playing. So I made a little collage of these things that bring me joy for simply existing in the world. May their bold fonts, colors, shapes, textures and aesthetic messages bring a smile to your face as they have mine.
