A Romantic Picnic on The Blue Ridge Parkway

I figured the best way to kick off February is by sharing this romantic drive through the Blue Ridge Parkway near Bryson City, North Carolina. Jaime planned it all for us and it was a welcome break after a tough month! Easily, it’s been one of my favorite activities we’ve done here in Western North Carolina.

We have a favorite lookout point we’ve stopped at for photos on our way to a few trails we did in the summer. Watch videos here for a refresher! It was the perfect spot to enjoy a scenic picnic in our car facing The Great Smoky Mountains! Although it’s beautiful year-round, we enjoyed gorgeous fall colors on our drive and view.

We’re looking forward to the last leg of winter in The Smokies.
